Once again, welcome to Share World. Although the site is relatively new we are pleased to find it is proving very useful. This page is to give you an idea of how the concept started and hopefully to provide a running documentation of the site as it grows.

The purpose of this site is to solve any problems you may have with regard to quoted or unquoted stocks and shares. The idea has been in the head of an old stockbrokers clerk for more than thirty years and has finally made it to the internet; maybe a little late as everything is now moving paperless, but not too late!
It is not just a collection of facts and articles you could find by trawling through the various financial web sites; no, its main purpose is to help investors or would-be investors solve real problems and hopefully to save them money and time.
Of course a lot of the mystique of investment and share ownership has gone but, we believe, there still remains a myriad of questions. Questions whose answers, admittedly, will prompt yet more questions.
