Autonomy is involved in the development and distribution of infrastructure software worldwide.The purpose of it's software is to handle, search and disseminate structured, semi-structured and unstructured data from the internet, intranets, corporate networks and email so that this data may be exploited and accommodated.

This service is becoming more and more important.

Autonomy was founded in1996 and is headquartered in Cambridge, UK.
