We hope this will clarify the situation regarding "Bactrol"shares:
Since our last notice was posted on this page, further details concerning this matter have come to light. We have received the following information from the solicitors representing Bactrol Ltd and have posted it here at their request:
Quote:
I represent Bactrol Limited, company number 05459557, incorporated 23/05/05, and www.bactrol.com is its official website. The other website to which you refer, www.bactrol.co.uk , is run by a private individual, operating as a sole trader (i.e. not a company at all). He and his business are entirely unrelated to Bactrol Limited and its business. It is correct that an organisation called Piton has been offering shares in Bactrol Limited, the company I represent, but I am unaware on what terms etc., but do believe that all such investors have been issued share certificates by Bactrol Limited. If you are aware of anyone who has been approached by Piton or any other organisation claiming to sell shares in Bactrol Limited, I would be grateful if you could let me have their details, especially if they believe they have been approached inappropriately.
Unquote.
We would like to apologise if we have caused any offence to Bactrol Ltd. However, our aim at shareworld is to provide an informative service and our interests lie with the well-being of the investing public. To this end we have done our best to sort out the facts in a complicated case.
We would also like to reiterate our warning to be extremely wary when dealing with unauthorised share promoters, particularly from abroad.
