Dan is an amateur investor who has been buying shares since the start of 2008. For his sins, his first investment was RBS at a smidge under £4. That remains his worst investment, closely followed by the additional shares he bought at £3, and then taking up their rights issue at £2. On the bright side, he didn't give up, and his best investment was RBS at 14p (sold at 50p).
Dan's largest shareholding is Berkshire Hathaway, the US conglomerate run by Warren Buffett, closely followed by several trackers: IEEM, IAPD, IDVY, the Lloyds Banking Group preference share LLPC, and the retailer Next.
