I agree that corporate bonds are a better bet than the bank or the building society but isn't it more exciting to buy a volatile share, any of the big miners at the moment, and make 10% in a few days. Ive got kazakhmys and vedanta on trailing stops at the moment and am waiting for Xstrata and Rio to have a little hiccup.
