Holding some of these as a speculative stock for growth and they are currently offering further shares for subscription. Any thoughts on this please?
I was thinking of rounding up to make my holding a round number possibly taking approx 50% higher holding.

The new shares may not be available for UK residents. Doesn't look like a great bargain at 10.5p with the shares at 10.5-10.75p anyway.

In reply to the first part yes they are - Have been offered them by my Stockbroker. In reply to the second part I did say they are speculative but from everything I am reading about them it seems that their product is steadily coming to market and they seem to have some good progressive international tie ups with up and coming market awareness worldwide.

I was trying to say that if the rights are at 10.5p there isn't much of a discount: if the shares slip a bit you would be able to buy them cheaper in the market.
Out of interest do you mean you have been offered some in the 'placing'?

Received a letter in response to Corporate Action Letter Ref 201005245 asking how many I want to apply for and states the Offer is conditional on Admission of New Ordinary Shares to AIM.

OK. Australian issues are usually restricted to 'qualifying' investors but maybe as it is quoted on AIM and ASX.
Brokers sometimes send out forms without reading them properly so I would check to make sure you qualify (unless, of course you are Australian, LOL!)

In response - No I'm not an Aussie nearest I can claim is a brother living out there in Sydney that I have managed to visit twice. Loved it!!
Re the offer I don't think Barclays would offer it if they weren't available or would they?

Presumably the shares are in Barclay's nominees? They will get the rights issue on their nominee holding and as I say it is (usually) available only to 'qualifying' shareholders. It may be different due to the fact that the shares are also on AIM. But I doubt it. The laws of a country usually apply outright. Barclays, like any other nominee won't go into that deeply. If you want to take up the rights I would just tell give those instructions and see what happens. I recently had the same thing with our nominees, Pershing Nominees, so as the client wanted to take them up that's what I told them. Don't think it has been finalised yet so I don't know the result.

Referring to my previous post I just noticed I got those Aussie shares in a rights issue for a non Australian resident (the shares were Kentor). But I don't think I should have!

Yes thanks received my requested number of shares. Have just noticed when checking around that on the day of the placement of the shares a Director of Ceramic bought a further 30000 shares at 11.75p at a 1.25p premium so hopefully he knows something??
