Just in case anyone hasn't noticed, we have published the first edition of the monthly Eavesdropper's Newsletter today - covered in this edition are AFREN, Consort Medical, Chamberlin, Sirius Exploration and RBS.

I would love to hear peoples thoughts and opinions on the first newsletter written by Alan Watson.

Was interested to see Afren mentioned as I have been following this stock for over 12 months and have bought and sold on a number of occasions when they have been up and down and made some nice profit thanks. In that time the progression has always been generally upward and it looks as though this is going to continue. It is nice to see someone else has the same opinion.

Following the new discovery in Okoro East project FinnCap say de-risking the discovery to 75% adds 3.2pish to their total NAV which moves to 128p. Next 2 wells JS2 in Kurdistan (currently drilling) & Nunya-1x in Ghana, unrisked add a further 126p to the share price.
With 10 wells scheduled this year Afren is one of their top picks for 2012. Expect more news on 23rd when they host a Capital Markets Day.

Hi Raysor
Thanks for the info will now hold mine as I was considering taking a quick profit. Unfortunately I have been too busy of late to do much dealing and put most of my money in to good divi stocks a while ago after getting rid of a few of my bad buys at a loss. Never mind I enjoyed the ride and did not allow my capital investment to fall below my original starting point.

Glad to hear that! I can tell you that 'Eavesdropper' is still keen on Afren.
