Rockhopper announce placing
Rockhopper announced today a placing of 17.32m shares at 280p to raise £48.5m
The placing is fully underwritten by Canaccord Genuity Ltd.
Funds are being raised to progress current drilling programme in the North Falklands basin, including flow testing of Sea Lion exploration well and drilling an exploration well on Ernest prospect. Independent estimate for the Sea Lion prospect increased last week by 72m barrels to 242m barrels recoverable.
