ETF investors face income tax bombshell

ETF tax treatment. Analysis by global fund manager BlackRock indicates that 25% of all UK listed ETFs do not have reporting or distributor status and therefore could be subject to income tax rather than capital gains tax. This means the tax could be 50% rather than 18% or 28%.
