We all know that market maker runs the shares market and make their money on the spread..but i want to know if they can influence or play with the share price like bring it down or up whenever they want in their favor to make more money? or they have to follow supply and demand. thanks

I need advice! I am a dissenting shareholder of Clyde Processing Solutions PLC who were bought over in Feb 2011 by Shenck, a german company. I have contacted Capita Registrars who tell me the balance of my holding is nil and that I held 827 shares before the scheme arrangement. According to my records I hold 41354 shares. I also seem to be due some cheques which I am assuming are dividend payments. What has happened to my shares? I would be grateful for any advice on what to do next.

Hi there, can you help me please? I invested £1000 into a mutual fund two years ago. I requested the funds go into the inc class but my SIPP provider invested in the accumulation class. They've since written to me to confirm they've corrected the units but I don't know if they've done it correctly ie, since I requested the inc class have I not lost out on cash dividends since the date the original trade was made? And do you know how I can find out how many income dividends I should have received (assuming the trade had been done correctly)?...thanks in advance.
