Hi Anon (please don't be afraid to use your own name here),
For the benefit of everyone our anonymous questioner is referring to the Ordinary shares of National Grid PLC. Their nominal value is 11 & 17/43 pence (fractionally less than GBP0.12)
The market price is currently 612.5p/613p which makes 27 shares worth GBP165.37. If you sold these shares there would obviously be costs to be deducted.
