12 stock picking days of Christmas – A rising Christmas star or a falling snowflake?

Redmayne-Bentley are offering private investors the chance to win £1,000 to spend on shares by challenging them to an online Christmas stock picking competition.
Entrants must simply choose ten FTSE 100 stocks that they think will be the best performers over the competition period between 8th December and 23rd December 2009 and can begin picking their stocks as of yesterday. The tie-breaker question is to guess the closing figure of the FTSE 100 on 23rd December which will be the deciding factor to determine the winner should there be a tie.

Entrants will be kept informed of their progress with daily alerts throughout the competition. Share price performance will be measured from open of market on Tuesday 8th December to close of play on Wednesday 23rd December but entrants can begin picking their stocks as of yesterday.
